Paint drying on the wings in the paint booth A paint booth was constructed that was ten feet wide, from the floor to the bottom of the roof truss, and as long as the building. The ceiling and walls were house barrier plastic. There were sliding doors on each end. One door was closed off with house barrier plastic, and a squirrel cage fan with a pre and final filters was hung in one upper corner. To control the amount of air passing through the booth the second sliding door was opened just enough to keep a low positive pressure inside the booth. Florescent lights were mounted along the booth length.
