Radiator Mount Bending And Welding Fixture

A CAD generated template was glued to a board. The foot pads were bolted into place. Holes were drilled so that vertical rods could be placed to the outside of the desired position for the upper portion of the mount. Then the first bend was made in the tubing next to the foot pad to bring the tube inward and up. The tube was slid into the foot pad holes and rotated up to see if the bend brought the tube close to the desired position. When this was so, the second bend was made to bring the tube into the vertical position.

To stabilize the mount tubes for welding the tubes to the pads, a piece of wood was drilled and slid over the tubes to hold them parallel. After welding, the assemblies were power coated.
