New Short Windshield

I made a new windshield from .030 inch thick Lexan. I wanted to save some weight and to eliminate neck strain by passing the wind up over the top of my head. To keep the rear edge from flexing, I installed 5/16 inch OD aluminum tube bow as a stiffener. To keep the air from hitting me in the face, I rounded the top rear edge to make the windshield five inches longer than before.
To strengthen the Lexan at the Camloc holes I JBWeld aluminum flashing washers to the Lexan. To reduce the compressive loads on the Lexan and to prevent cracking, aluminum rivets were used to keep the bow in place.
